Every Christian is commanded to live as a disciple of Jesus, to be disciplined to follow His example for living. This requires an attitude of dying to self and making living for Jesus the center of their life. Every disciple must stop living a "me" centered life and begin living a God centered one. The only way to do this is to depend on God with a no matter what attitude. Then a disciple will be able to begin to fulfill God's direction for living, by being disciplined to totally depend on Jesus.


Once a disciple's life is totally dependent on God, they are commanded to teach others to live the same way. That's God's great commission, His supreme mission for every one of His followers. Then and only then will a disciple be able to observe all that He commanded and teach others to do the same.


Unfortunately most Christians don't live this way. Most of them do not totally depend on God and even those that do, very rarely disciple others to do the same. To prove my point, ask those who attend your church this question;

who discipled them, who is their father in the faith, their spiritual mentor. Then ask them who they have discipled, who are their children in the faith, who have they spiritually mentored. You will see from the answers to this question that most Christians are not living as a biblical disciple of Jesus. They have not been discipled and are not discipling others to live a life of dependence on God.


But what does it mean to depend on Him with a no matter what attitude? How can you learn how? How can you teach it to others? Where can you find others? How do you get started? These questions have been imbedded in my heart for years. Through patience and many years of prayer, God has revealed to me His answers to these questions in a way that will reveal His glory; the outcome is the 2-1-2 discipleship training.


2-1-2 will provide all the tools necessary to be discipled and disciple others. In addition, it will clearly reveal the fruits of serving God as a biblical

disciple. Watch and see as thousands of lives will be impacted for God from the commitment of just 1 passionate disciple. God will be glorified as Christians take up His charge to evangelize and disciple, to live for God and Him alone, to make Jesus the essence of their being. God's church will be more relevant, more passionate for the things of God and His disciples will live to please Him and not themselves.


It is my passion that every Christian recognizes the blessing they have that God chose them to carry out His purposes. The desire to be used this way should be a natural reaction of every Christian to a God who sacrificed his life so that they could live eternally with Him. It is my mission and the purpose of 2-1-2 that every Christian sees that that they have been raised up by God for a time such as this, to live as a disciple of Jesus, making disciples of all the nations and teaching them to observe all that He has commanded, totally depending on Him!
