The Three Essential "D's" of a Disciples Life

Every Christian is commanded to live as a disciple of Jesus, to be disciplined to follow His example for living. This requires an attitude of dying to self and making living for Jesus the center of their life. Stuart uses his own life examples to illustrate that every disciple must stop living a "me" centered life and begin living a God centered one. Stuart clearly teaches that the only way to do this is to depend on God with a no matter what attitude. Then a disciple will be able to begin to fulfill God's direction for living, by being disciplined to totally depend on Jesus. Once a disciple's life is totally dependent on God, they are commanded to teach others to live the same way. That's God's great commission, His supreme mission for every one of His followers. Then and only then will a disciple be able to observe all that He commanded and teach others to do the same.
